Welcome To My Blog
Occasionally I like to write a few paragraphs on a subject other than sculpture or mosaics. Writing serves several purposes for me … (I) When remembering or thinking about something, writing on paper with a pencil forces me to organize my thoughts. (II) Writing often gets me laughing at my own pretty bad jokes, me being my best audience. (III) A person exploring this blog might actually read something of interest or be prompted to write something for themselves.
My intent is to add something new to this blog every 10-15 days. Enjoy!
Thanks, Rosano

SCOOT ACROSS THE USA – 13 – BARNEY DOES QUITE WELL

SCOOT ACROSS THE USA – 42 – ON TO MEMPHIS
It had rained sometime during the night in Vicksburg. Hearing the sound of rain on the tarp told me it was a gentle rain. Having taken two or three aspirins before trying to sleep had [...]
SCOOT ACROSS THE USA – 45 – ALMOST CHICAGO
Sometimes, morning arrives when you least expect it. Looking out the wallet-sized window of the small motel cabin, there was some light in the sky which meant I had slept eight or nine hours. Stomach [...]

In my tent, in the middle of the night, in the middle of the woods, in the middle of Indiana, I was awake and I was alone … not lonely, alone. Traveling across the US [...]
SCOOT ACROSS THE USA – 54 – THE COMMUNE
Jacksonville, Florida had become the 80% mark of my journey, the end of the fourth leg of five … first: from Tucson, Arizona to Denver, Colorado, second: (unplanned and spur-of-the-moment) from Denver to New Orleans, [...]
